How To Install Ovidentia
In this article we summarize the basic steps needed to install Ovidentia. We consider that we already have a working installation of Apache/PHP and Mysql.
- Download the latest version of ovidentia on the download page.
- Extract the file to your DocumentRoot directory. In the rest of the article we will consider that DocumentRoot is "D:\Dev\wamp\www\". The full path to the extracted ovidentia is "D:\Dev\wamp\www\ovidentia-6-3-3".
- Now open you favorite browser on the page http://localhost/ovidentia-6-3-3/install.php or http://YourIP/ovidentia-6-3-3/install.php and fill in the form as shown in the following example:
- Click on the submit button and wait for the installation process to finish (this may take a while). Once the installation is finished, you should see the following page:
